Do you conduct Home Medication Reviews?

Yes we do! We have consultants and interviewers Australia Wide and the quality of the reports are overseen by Samer Hakim, a consultant pharmacist since 2002.

How long before we have to pay for your service?

We invoice at the end of the month and provide you with a minimum of 28 days to pay all invoices. That means that you can have up to 59 days to pay for locum pharmacist placements or Home Medication Reviews.

Have you every given away free shifts because it took more than 60 minutes?

YES WE HAVE! These we not urgent same day shifts but took us longer than we anticipated to fill. Our promise is simple, so if we take 61 minutes to confirm a shift, the invoice you receive will have a 100% discount on it for that shift(s).

How quickly can you confirm a shift?

The shortest time we have taken to confirm a shift was less than three minutes!

A recent Audit of 100 requests showed the following:

Shortest time to fill a shift < 3 minutes
Longest time > 60 minutes (FREE Service)
On Average, we take 26 minutes to call you back with a confirmed locum.

What are your hours of operation?

Pharmacy S.O.S is a true 24/7 service and we use various means to communicate new shifts. If you need someone, at what ever time of day it is, you can call us and be confident that we will be able to assist you on the spot!

How do I use my S.O.S Google Calendar? (For Locum Profilers)

You can use the Pharmacy SOS calendar to keep prospective employers up to date with your schedule and availability when they view your calendar online. It will only show as "Busy" if you have an event marked as "busy" hen you enter in the details of your event. In other words, even if you give full details of the event, addresses, etc, only the word “Busy” is visible if you are not the owner of the calendar, and if applicable, the hours that you are busy.

The calendar has been set to being discreet and no further details about your event will be available publicly.

You can access your SOS mail if you wish to use this as an email destination at mail.pharmacysos.com.au.

Your user name and password were mailed to you when the calendar was set up. If you need further assistance with this, please email admin@pharmacysos.com.au.

You will be asked to change your password once you log in for the first time. For security purposes, keep this password safe and do not share it. You should also change it on a regular basis.

HOW TO UPDATE THE CALENDAR:

The default setting on the calendar is to show as available. To amend this so that it reflects as being BUSY on the SOS website, please follow the following instructions...

When you click on a day, you can edit the details of the event, see diagram below:

Make sure you tick the "busy box" once you go in to the edit event details. You can also make the event recurring, such as when you have regular shifts or for example regular weekly activities.

I have my own online calendar... can I use that for my locum profile?

Yes you can!

However, in order keep the website consistent, we need certain parameters fulfilled. If you use Google Calendar, please follow these instructions:

1. After logging in to your calendar, go to the calendar you wish to share online and click on the arrow along side it.

2. You should now see an option called "Share this calendar"

3. Inside this, tick the box "Share this calendar with others" and "Make this calendar public".

4. Be sure to change the setting to "See only free/bus (hide details)" in the drop down menu.

5. Click on "Calendar details" on the top left hand corner.

6. In the "Embed This Calendar" option", there is hyperlink to customise the calendar further. Click on that.

7. Please choose the following parameters:

a) Calendar Title: Yournames Calendar

b) Show: Leave all items ticked.

c) Default View: Month

d) Width: 525 Pixels

e) Height: 400 Pixels

f) Week starts on Monday.

g) Language: lead as default.

h) You can personalise your own background colour if you wish. And choose to the optional border.

i) Time Zone: the time zone should already be set to the correct one.

Once you have updated the above parameters, you should now copy the HTML code that is displaying on the top of the screen after clicking on "update HTML".

That's the code that pharmacy SOS requires to embed your calendar into the websites for your locum profile. Please e-mail us that code so that we can update your calendar.
